New York Here I Come!

Hello all,
I'm not really sure how in the world I got to this day. Somehow 4 months have flown by and here I am in Heathrow airport waiting for my flight back across the pond.
I have truly enjoyed my last few days in London as I chose to do some of my favorite things, see my favorite sights, eat my favorite foods and just spend quality time with the people that have grown into amazing friends. In the midst of it all, I realized that living in this city has become second nature to me. I used to fear the idea of living in a city, thinking it wasn't for me and just too much work, but London proved me completely wrong. I feel more natural walking around the streets of South Kensington than I would walking around the streets outside of the SUNY Albany campus.
College has been an amazing experience but studying abroad is really what pushed me out of my comfort zone in life and taught me more about myself, my abilities, my strengths and weaknesses, then I would have ever learned if I simply stayed in Albany all 4 years like I planned.
Today I am ecstatic to see my family for the first time in 4 months and to tell them endless stories because they are the one's that got me where I am today. But I am also extremely somber leaving behind my endless trips to Pret, the ability to get on an hour long plane ride for a weekend getaway to a new country, and casually walking around there streets of Kensington just to pick up groceries.
I am forever grateful for the past 4 months, wishing I could relive it all over again if my bank account would only replenish itself.
So on that note, with my overweight luggage I will get on this plane to Toronto, land safely and go back to my normal New York life, and work on planning my next adventure. Stay tuned.
