London Love

Hello all!
Somehow, some weird way, I only have 6 days left before I head home to the states and this crazy adventure is over.
With time ticking so quickly, my friends and I took advantage of everyday this past week, even if the London weather was not on our side! Even with all of our classes, and endless papers, and 3 days of work we really tried to celebrate our time left here.
I was able to see The Lion King Wednesday night in the West End theater district at a discounted price through my school and it was so nice to sit and see a show after a long day at work! On Friday my friends and I went to a theater to watch the movie Love Actually which is very popular over here with the Brits. Everyone was dressed up for the holidays, we booked a table and shared a bottle of wine and sang along with the rest of the theater to Christmas music throughout the night!
Saturday we continued the Christmas celebration with a spontaneous adventure to Santacon, a city wide pub crawl where everyone dresses up like Santa! Even in the 35 degree weather we walked around all day seeing iconic parts of the city while getting stared at for our outfits along the way but it was well worth it with only a week left!
Sunday morning I headed to church at St Paul's Cathedral, a beautiful church where the royals hold all sorts of ceremonies and an iconic part of the London skyline. The rain/snow sort of ruined the rest of the day but that was alright because that night I had tickets to the Jingle Bell Ball at the O2 Arena! This Christmas concert featured The Script, Liam Payne, The Chainsmokers, Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift! And for those who know me, Taylor Swift in concert is my everything! It was a crazy night full of so much singing that I barely have a voice now but who cares!
You can definitely say I'm going out with a bang and not letting life pass me by as my time in this city comes to a close. The last of my days do consist of class and work but I am still aiming to see some of the city one last time before I head out because who knows when I'll be back.
So on that note, I will love this city for the rest of my life for all it has offered me and I hope that I have shared my love with you all as I have been writing and posting pictures.
