7 Weeks Down

Hello all!
I am officially done with my first 7 weeks of studying abroad!
This week I finished my Social Welfare Issues class with an 8 page paper as well as a final all in a matter of the past week so sorry for bring MIA. As I spent the whole week in the library, with the rain outside my window, I didn't do much London exploring but still cherished my time as a Londoner the best I could.
Friday when I was finally done with all of my responsibilities I headed to the train station and picked up my sister! After her 7 hour red eye flight I immediately dove back into London exploring showing her all of my favorite parts of the city. In the past 24 hours she has seen Borough Market, Camden Town, Westminster including Big Ben, Parliament and the London Eye, Tower Bridge, Hyde Park, and the beautiful Buckingham Palace!
Having someone here visiting for the first time reminds me that I really have immersed myself in not only the culture but the history of this city as well. I know all about British politics and culture because I live it everyday.
With classes being done brings fall break, finally!
For the next 7 days Jessie and I will travel to Barcelona, Spain and Rome, Italy, brand new places for both of us to explore! I won't be bringing my laptop along so a blog post won't come until I get back next week but stay updated on my Instagram and Facebook because we will be posting plenty of pictures!
So on that note, get ready for pictures of paella, sangria, pasta and wine for the next 7 days and goodbye my beautiful London, you will be missed!
